Experience and Skills

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on cross-border operations and multi-entity consolidation (such as US and LATAM jurisdictions).
• C1 English level or higher, with the ability to communicate financial and tax concepts clearly in professional settings.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll operations, including local labor compliance, payroll books, and legal filings (such as Chilean liquidaciones de sueldo and libro de remuneraciones).
• Expertise in international contractor management, including withholding taxes, double-taxation treaties, and global payment processing.
• Experience working directly with external tax advisors and legal consultants to optimize tax structures and verify compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring full legal and tax compliance for employees across different jurisdictions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of international contractors and service providers, including contract execution, tax documentation, and global payment distribution.
• Execute multi-entity accounting tasks, including intercompany transactions, financial consolidation, and export invoicing.
• Collaborate with and challenge external accountants, consultants, and tax advisors to ensure optimal tax treatments and regulatory compliance.
• Design and scale internal financial and payroll processes to support organizational growth.

This is a high-ownership role for a Senior Accountant to lead and manage all accounting, payroll, and financial compliance operations across multiple jurisdictions. Operating as the sole owner of these functions, you will establish, scale, and maintain robust financial processes without relying on an existing HR or accounting department. You will manage complex cross-border transactions, international contractor payments, and multi-entity consolidations, specifically bridging US parent and LATAM subsidiary operations. This role requires a proactive professional who can confidently collaborate with and challenge external tax advisors to optimize fiscal strategies.
